STYLE OF PLAY

Bradley plays pressure offense and
defense for 40 minutes every game. We
run after all makes and misses on
offense and play a full court pressing
style of defense.

Marcellus Sommerville was the only
player in the Valley to rank in the
top five in both scoring and
rebounding in each of the last three
seasons.

Former Brave Phillip Gilbert led the
Valley in scoring during the 2002-03
season.

Coach Les’ first year, Bradley led the
nation by increasing its scoring
average from 60.7 points per game in
2001-02 to 73.2 in 2002-03.

scoring during conference games at

current day-to-day home for the
Braves, but Bradley University

BRAVES IN THE PROS

Sixteen former Braves have played in
the NBA, the most of any school in the
MVC. Bradley's number will grow to 17
when Patrick O'Bryant (Golden State)
joins fellow former Brave Anthony
Parker (Toronto) in the NBA for the
2006-07 season.

Bradley players have been NBA
first-round draft picks and 10 have
been picked in the first two rounds.
